SHE WAS MOVED TO CREATE A BUSINESS THAT INSPIRED HER FAMILY MEMBERS WITH DIABETES TO MAKE HEALTHY EATING CHOICES.

Terricia started a health blog called myTmeals in 2014, but after a few years it just wasn’t enough. Maybe a health store like Meals On Wheels or publishing her own health magazine could help make a bigger difference? After sharing her ideas with her loved ones and mentors, she was fixed on kettle corn. But not just any kettle corn—it had to be 100% organic, vegan, and gluten free.

She went straight to work. After hours of research she discovered that popcorn became popular during the Great Depression because it was fairly inexpensive and is consumed in 70% of households around the world today. So, she was convinced that her product must be affordable, American made, and loved by families throughout the world..

Starting off with a small stove popper, she began to experiment with different kernels, sugars and oils for weeks. With the support from her grandparents, she was able to test their blood sugar levels after trying samples of batches to ensure it could be as close to a “diabetic friendly” snack as possible. Many batches later she made the perfect

recipe! Not only did it taste delicious, but her grandmother was able to eat full serving without striking her levels! Winner!

Fast forwarding two years and an 80qt popper later, Terricia and her crew have served hundreds of bags of myTpop to customers of all ages throughout the United States. Not only are they committed to providing their customers with gourmet organic kettle corn, but they’ve teamed up with non-profit organizations that are dear to their hearts by sending them monthly donations. They extended this opportunity to all their customers who wish to be myTpoppers by signing up for a monthly order with an automatic, recurring 10% donation.

Terricia is grateful for all the love and support she has received from her family, friends and community throughout her career so far. Although she’s working on her 10 year plan which includes opening a store front in 2020, Terricia will always be committed to putting a smile on someone’s face by sharing her love for myTpop.
